Community & Support
United Suicide Survivors International works to build, foster, and create a sense of community among people with lived experience and their supporters by assisting those with lived experience of suicide in discovering their role as change champions and advocates through community-building and convening focused on self-care, leadership development, advocacy, collaboration, and sharing.
Amplifying Lived Expertise
We believe in the power of lived experience and sharing our personal stories to heal and inspire action for change. US works to amplify the voices of lived expertise to create policy, systems, and culture change, and promote overall mental health and wellbeing.
Tools for Changemakers
United Suicide Survivors International provides lived-experience informed tools and best practices for lived experience leaders, advocates, supporters, workplaces and communities. US convenes survivors, industries, communities, and stakeholders to develop, implement and share best practices in community and workplace suicide prevention. We develop and promote lived experience informed Best Practices and provide a wide range of consulting and co-design services. US develops programs and projects focused on disparately impacted populations, with our first signature event being the Construction Mental Health & Wellbeing Conference.
